AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR GARBAGE REMOVAL IN THE VILLAGE OF MANCHESTER, OHIO

1.  All households within the Village of Manchester shall have weekly garbage pickup at their residence.

2.  Households shall contract with  any provider of garbage removal services that has been preapproved by the Village.

3.  Households with limited amounts of garbage  may use Rumpke bags.

ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR BANNING OF STORED JUNK ON PRIVATE PROPERTIES  #2008-03

1. For the purposes of the Ordinance the word "junk" shall mean any and all waste matter, whether reusable or not, which is offensive to the general public health, safety or the aesthetics of the neighborhood, and which is specifically intended to include but not limited to machinery of any kind, any parts thereof, old ice boxes, refrigerators, stoves, mechanical equipment, washing machines, dryers, trailers, mobile homes, buses, and boats.

2. No person shall store junk upon private property within the Village of Manchester, where such storage is not specically authorized.

3. Any property owner or occupant of any property within the Village of Manchester who allows storage of junk upon the property owned or occupied by him or her is cited to Court in violation of this Ordinance shall be guilty of a Fourth Degree Misdemeanor. Subsequent violations of this Ordinance shall be of progressive penalties.
